Twinkle Twinkle Little Star

Rex did the cutest thing today. He's been learning Twinkle Twinkle Little Star in nursery. He started singing it out of the blue the other day and I was so surprised, I asked him where he learned that and he said, "In nursery, Mom!"
Anyway so today one of his friends came over and was singing I am a Child of God. Rex tried to sing along and instead sang, "I am a child of God...How I wonder what you are." Later this afternoon he sang that version to Grandma Sherry and that put a big smile on her face. We sure love the sweet innocence of our cute little Rexy!

Pretty Girl

Can you believe she's 6 months already? Rylee is just such a sweetheart. Lately she's been getting more mobile. She will roll over both ways and get up on her hands and knees. Her favorite game right now is peek a boo.
She giggles every time we play.
We just adore her!

Our Latest Project

Levi and I like to fill our weekends with projects whether they be our own or someone elses. We don't often give ourselves too much down time or we get bored and think of crazy things like moving. *Grin*

So anyway I thought I'd share our latest project. Levi bought himself a paint sprayer and just had to try it out. He painted this Dresser to go in baby Rylee's room. It turned out really cute!

Is the Grass really Greener on the Other Side?

Rex was outside playing while I did some dishes, I looked out the window to check on him and saw him peeking into the neighbors back yard. I just had to sneak some pictures. I love watching my kids explore and discover the world around them. It's so fun to watch them learn!

By My Self!

Rex is on this new kick lately. He wants to do everything by himself. He says, "It's my turn to do it by myself!" Although sometimes that can be cute, other times it's just frustrating! Like yesterday we went to the mall and he wanted to walk instead of get in the stroller. I wanted to move at a faster pace so I told him he had to either keep up or get in the stroller. He deliberately slowed down and just looked at me as he did his slow, broad shouldered, man in a little boys body walk. It's a good thing he's so stinkin' cute! Gotta love him.

Rylee's new thing is trying so hard to move. She gets so frustrated that she can't get her body to go where she wants it to. Lately shes been sticking her little bum up in the air trying unsuccessfully to move forward. It just makes me laugh. I love being a mom, even the frustrating parts!

Halloween Time Fun!

This was a wig from a costume of Levi's. Rex kept putting it on and dancing around saying,"bow chica wow wow!" Such a funny kid!

Rainy Days and Mondays...

The rain wasn't gonna keep this kid inside! Rex loves to ride his tricycle, come rain or shine. He also loves to wear his boots. Every day this summer he would put his rain boots on and say, "It's a nice sunny day and I'm wearing my boots!" It was pretty darn cute. Now at least he has a good reason to wear them. He's such a good boy!

He always comes in the house before he rides his tricycle and says, "Mom PLEASE put my helmet on!" We'll just hope he stays that smart!
