It's been awhile...

Well since my mom told me I ought to update my blog
and I always try to do as I'm told, *grin*
here are some recent pictures of the kiddos.
First Big December Snow!
Rex and Rylee love to play outside together
no matter what the weather.
They also love to help in the kitchen.
Here we are making cinnamon rolls.

I found them snuggled up together eating apples the other morning.
I love that they are such good friends!

Playing together in Rex's room.
I love those big blue eyes and piggy tails!

Rex's Birthday!

So it's taken me a couple months but here are some pics from Rex's 3rd Birthday. He wanted sports stuff and oh boy did he get sports stuff. A T-Ball set, baseballs and a mit. Grandpa Clair and Grandma Sherry came to celebrate with us and they brought him a bowling set with balls and pins as well as a golf set. We've had so much fun playing all these games with him.
I love having a little boy! He brings adventure into my life! I love you Buddy!

... and I fall more in Love!

I love catching these sweet moments on film!

A little catch up!

There is something wrong with my camera and it won't let me put pictures on my blog *frown* so until my brainiac of a husband has time to fix it i guess everyone will just have to read about the new things going on.
Rylee has started walking more and more by herself, she gets a little braver everyday. I can't believe she'll be a year old in a couple of weeks!
Rex is so "THREE!" That boy knows how to push my buttons and then be so sweet and cute to make up for it. He talks SO much! Most of the time I love to hear all of his stories and then there are the times when he says the same thing over and over again until I'm ready to rip my hair out! He is such a good kid though!
Levi got our garage finished so our house looks a lot nicer from the curb now. He went on some business trips through March and April and we are SO glad to have him home! Doing all my favorite things is so much more fun when he's around!
We took a family "stay-cation" this last week. Levi took the week off and we did fun things each day. I have lots of pictures that I can't share because my darn camera won't work right! Anyway so we went to the Hogle Zoo, the Living Planet Aquarium, the Hill Aerospace Museum, the Tree House Museum, and the Dinosaur Park. Rex loved seeing all the animals and dinosaurs and airplanes. When we were at the dinosaur park he kept saying, "That one won't step on me." I reassured him that none of the dinosaurs would step on him. He got to be in a puppet show at the tree house museum and it was so cute. He kept going up and running across the stage and then back down and up and across again until the guy in charge told him his turn was over. Levi and I were laughing so hard that neither of us went to stop his "show stopping" routine, (does that make us bad parents) oh well it was fun to watch.
So there is at least an update, hopefully I'll be able to post some pictures soon!

Happy Anniversary! Five Years!

Levi and I had our 5 Year Wedding Anniversary the other day so I thought I'd do a little tribute to our journey together so far.

I met Levi when I was 16 years old. He walked into my seminary class and sat two seats away from me. It was 'like' at first sight! I liked what I saw and turned to ask my friend who he was. I knew the moment I saw him that I had to figure out a way to get him to ask me out. Luckily my friend just happened to know him because he was her gymnastics coach. After school that day I went to my sister Carrie Ann's house and told her about the new found crush. She pointed out her window and told me he lived in the house across the street and he was in her ward. Her husband had a calling in the young mens so I guess you could say he was my second "in" with this cute boy named Levi. I got everyone I could find to tell him that he should ask me out. I was dating someone else at the time but I knew I would drop anything just to go on a date with him. In seminary we had a spotlight for different students each day. We all had to fill out questionnaires about ourselves and one of the questions said "Describe your Dream Date" all I wrote was, Levi Hunsaker! On the day that my spot light was given and this question and answer were read aloud, I leaned over and asked him if he heard what my Dream Date was. He shyly dropped his head and said, "yes". That got me worried because I didn't know then if he even wanted to go out with me. Well, he finally mustered up the courage and asked me to the final dance of the year "Purple and White" with balloons and a teddy bear. We had our first date on May 18, 2001 and continued it on the next day. That is when we had our first kiss, outside in my driveway next to his parents silver dodge mini van. I kissed him a sweet short kiss and he said, "Is that all I get? I have a mint." That made me laugh and I think I kissed him again. Needless to say, I broke up with the other guy I'd been dating the next day! So that's how it all started. We've had our ups and downs as every good relationship does but we've loved the good and held on through the bad. We were married in March 2004 and sealed for time and eternity in the Jordan River Temple in March 2005. Best decision I've ever made. I married him because I was head over heels crazy about him but what I've come to find out in the last five years of being his wife is that he is the most amazing man I've ever met. He is kind and giving. He's always there to be my very best friend. When I'm mad at someone he's mad at them too, and when I decide to get over it he's over it too. He is brilliant and hard working. He makes it possible for me to be a stay at home mom, a dream I've had since childhood, and always notices and thanks me for the work that I do in our home. I love him more now than I did when I married him and I can only imagine the love I will have for him throughout eternity. I'm so excited to live this life with him and to know it doesn't have to end here. I love dreaming with him and in time fulfilling those dreams. I'm so glad he walked into my seminary class eight years ago and I'm thankful he chose me!
I Love You Forever, Levi Hunsaker!

Thank you for being the best husband I could ever possibly imagine!

My Sweet Girl!

Rylee is such a sweet heart! She is growing up so fast... well in some ways. Rylee is nine months old now but still wearing 3-6 month clothes. She is in the fifth percentile for height and weight but if you saw her eat dinner you would wonder where she puts it all! She is so much fun right now. She's crawling everywhere, even up the stairs (yikes!). She pulls herself up to stand along all the furniture and walls. Just recently she started to pull herself up and then let go and try to balance for a few seconds until she gets distracted and tips over. Its been so fun to watch her learn, she seems to pick up on things so quickly she surprises me every day. Levi is always saying that we're in big trouble when she's a teenager because she's so gorgeous and she definitely has a mind of her own. She really is a sweet girl though. I'm so thankful we got to bring such a special spirit into our home! Her big brother adores her most of the time... Too much sometimes. He likes to tackle her and pin her to the ground. The sentence, "Leave your sister alone!" comes out of my mouth too many times a day to count, but it is fun to watch them play together. What can I say, I love my kids!
This first picture makes me laugh every time I see it.
I accidentally bumped her nose and she was so sad but so cute!

Levi thinks it's really funny to mess up her hair during bath time.

Play-Doh Fun!

It's been awhile since I last blogged. My family keeps getting sick and it takes all my energy just taking care of everyone! So here are some pictures of the fun things we've been doing in between all the illnesses. Aunt Julie and Uncle Rex gave my little Rex some play-doh for Christmas and we have all had a blast creating with him. He's so much fun!

I love this goofy face Rex is pulling!

Grandpa Clair and his puppy dog.

Grandma Sherry sure loves spending time with Rexy!

These were some of my creations that I was particularly proud of!

Here's Rex and Aunt Amanda decorating a Christmas Tree.
The Ice Cream cone was another of my Creations...
What can I say, I'm a Play-Doh Genius! Ha!

Thanks again for the Play-doh, Aunt Julie! We love it!
